Email accounthas been working fine for some time but now is asking for outgoing server password, which I don't remember.
I can read emails, however I can not send any emails without getting an error message reading; login to server smtpout.sceureserver.net failed. Then I keep getting asked to enter a password, which I do not remember and no way to create a new one?

Your inbound and outbound passwords are usually the same. Email passwords are administered with your provider. You need to work with them to sort out forgotten passwords. This page shows how to view and remove saved passwords in Thunderbird.https://kb.wisc.edu/page.php?id=19006
