hi baldur1, please try to refresh firefox and see if this can address the issue...
that worked perfectly. i had not tried that before. thanks for the help...
nevermind, it did not work. it is back to doing it again. it seemed to work for a bit and then it goes back to not saving the password again.
The Security Settings under "Logins" should have this option checked: [ ]'Remember logins for sites', and in the Exceptions list make sure that [accounts.firefox.com] is not in that exceptions list.
Do you have a third party password manager?
i did check the button on my pc. this feature was working for a while then i am not sure if it was a ff update but one day it stopped working and it has stopped working on both my pcs at the same time. when i reset it, i did check save the password and it worked for a bit and then it stopped again. i will check the exception list but i doubt that is the issue since i just reset it and i did 100% check save the password and it did not...
just an update, i did check the exceptions, there were none. i rechecked the box to save passwords and it did not work either. i upgraded the os to fedora 24 and put firefox back on and again it did it. i think this is clearly a bug with the firefox rpm...
by the way, i reformatted this computer yesterday and put firefox back on and added the sync. it took until today that it stopped auto logging into sync but it has once again.
