Flash Plugin for Firefox will not work, tried all recommended fixes
Tried all the recommended fixes: completely uninstalling Flash, updating it to current version, disabling hardware acceleration. The only "fix" that works is either completely disabling the addon in Firefox or setting it to ask to be used. Even going to Adobe's website to check to see if flash is working causes the plugin to repeatedly fail and lock up Firefox.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
Yep, the second I enable the addon for flash and go to a website with flash running, it locks up and spams "Unresponsive Plugin, do you want to disable" message over and over.
Is that any site?
This is not a cure but should let the web page load without crashing.
Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it
Did you have a problem with Firefox or the computer in safe mode?
See if there are updates for your graphics drivers https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
Any website that I clicked "Allow" so that flash would work causes Firefox to become unresponsive. I want to figure out why this started happening and how to fix it in the future. Simply having it set to Always ask or blocking it entirely is not what I'm after.
