How do I get the complete URL displayed in the address.search bar?
Hi! I had to send the URL from the page I was on to a Support Tech, (not about Firefox), so I did the Copy & Paste move, but when I submitted the form, I was told that I had to enter the FULL URL. I've had to do this several times throughout my PC life, but this is the first time I had this result. Please tell me how to get the complete URL feature restored so I can submit my form. Thanks for taking the time to read & respond to my question. Thanks! Nuts4Mutts

If you use select all (Ctrl+A) in the location/address bar then you should get the full URL including the HTTP(S) protocol part if you do a copy and paste.
Is this an HTTP link or an HTTPS link?
Did you have issues on that web page that you needed to send this link to the support site?
You can set browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled to false on the about:config page to disable the highlighting of the domain and see the full URL more clearly. You can set browser.urlbar.trimURLs to false on the about:config page to see the http: protocol on the location bar and in the pop-up if you hover a link.

You can reset browser.urlbar.trimURLs and browser.urlbar.formatting.enabled via the right-click context menu to the default value to restore the previous behavior of the location bar.
