Why is Yahoo email being blocked AGAIN on Firefox. What is wrong with these people. I cannot log in via Firefox now. I've cleared cache and cookies. Sucks.

I'm so tired of this crap that continues to happen with almost every Firefox "update". Now Yahoo email is being blocked as "not a secure website" maybe because Yahoo changed something or other. Duh, hey Firefox it's not like nobody uses Yahoo email. I've cleared cache and cookies which worked another time Firefox did this. Not this time. So I have to go to my phone to look at my email, I'm beginning to really believe Firefox sucks and go with Opera instead. No reason for this. If something like this happens they should have clear announcements how to work around their screw ups. Instead we all have to scramble hoping another helpful user clears the problem up for us. Of course, there's no way to contact Mozilla directly. I'm pretty damned pissed off this time.

Hello,

The Refresh feature (called "Reset" in older Firefox versions) can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.

Note: When you use this feature, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.

To Refresh Firefox:

  1. Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
    • Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
    • If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
  2. At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Refresh Firefox" ("Reset Firefox" in older Firefox versions). Click on it.
  3. Firefox will close. After the refresh process is completed, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
  4. Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.

Did this fix the problem? Please report back to us!

Thank you.

You say that you are  'bleeped off',   and it's totally understandable that you are frustrated,   but would you take a look at this, please   ?

Do you use a bookmark or are you starting with the main (home) page of this website?

If you use a bookmark (with a possible mirror domain prefix) then navigate to the web page starting with the main page or the sign in page in case there is a problem with this bookmark.

Best is always to avoid creating a bookmark that points to a specific numbered sub domain.
