2 Inboxes in my Imap account
I just changed from Pop3 to Imap for my email account. I noticed that my my imap account now has 2 inboxes, and they both have a trash file. Why did this happen? It doesn't look like any mail goes in the extra inbox - weird! I attached a screenshot.
thanks, Kristi

re: changed from Pop3 to Imap
If you had a pop mail account, you cannot just alter the server settings, you have to create a new existing mail account and set it up as imap. Can you offer some info on how you 'changed from pop3 to imap' ?
I followed the instructions here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/switch-pop-imap-account
I disabled the 'studio545' pop3, then created a new account (the 'studio545' imap account). I then copied all my folders over into the new account and once everything was transferred successfully, I then deleted the 'studio545' pop3 account leaving me with the new 'studio545' imap account. Everything is working just fine, but I have this weird extra inbox & trash as its subfolder.
re : I then copied all my folders over into the new account
Did that include the Drafts, Junk and Trash folders, as shown below 'Inbox' ?
I notice you have a 'Junk' folder and a 'Spam' folder. Usually the 'Spam' folder is the one on the server and 'Junk' happens to be a default Thunderbird folder which you have added to server.
INBOX' > Trash folder is probably the 'Trash' folder on the Server and 'Inbox' > 'Trash' is probably the folder you copied onto the server.
If you right click on the mail account name in the Folder Pane and select 'Subscribe' what folders are listed and what folders are selected? Post image.
That's interesting! I have all the same folders in the subscribe popup that I have on my thunderbird list. I attached a screen shot of them side by side. Thanks for helping me with this!!
Also, you asked me if i copied over my draft, junk and trash folders, no I did not.

Can you tell me exactly how you did this? What folders did you copy over to imap? Did you copy paste folders / files in the profile name folder's account folder whilst Thunderbird was closed?
