Both Firefox 56.02 and Chrome crashes when I try to print to my Canon MF8350. Latest driver installed and running windows 10 (64). I does not crash Microsoft Edge. I can print documents outside of browser just fine. I ran Firefox in safe mode with no plugins active and still crashes. I also reset Firefox which had no effect. I made sure I had latest flash player always active and ran Malwarebytes. The crash report is bp-807786b5-d0ee-41d2-9a92-ccbc71171030 . I tried most of the fixes online without success.

Crash report shows that it is your Canon Driver cnxdias2.dll that is casing the crash.

Now if latest driver is from a disk it is not the latest. If did not know.

Download drivers here : https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/support-laser-printers-imageclass/color-imageclass-mf8350cdn?tab=drivers_downloads

Note that Win 10 can and will change your drivers to Microsoft's https://www.howtogeek.com/302595/how-to-stop-windows-10-from-automatically-updating-hardware-drivers/

If the issue is with your Windows 10 causing it to crash within Firefox and Chrome please try this :

Repair System Registry and Files

(FOR DOING Above & Below - WINDOWS All OTHER VERSIONS - Use Search To Find Command Prompt ** Enter CMD.exe to Find COMMAND PROMPT Then Right Click & RUN AS ADMIN)

To run the SFC command use the Windows key + X keyboard shortcut to open the Power User menu and select Command Prompt (Admin). Type "SFC /SCANNOW" (without quotes or copy/paste) and press Enter. For more information on using SFC, please refer to the Microsoft KB: Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

Run the Windows Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) and System File Checker (SFC) tools as Administrator. The DISM and SFC tools scan the integrity of the Windows image and all protected system files replaces corrupted, damaged and incorrect versions. (FOR DOING Above & Below - WINDOWS All OTHER VERSIONS - Use Search To Find Command Prompt ** Enter CMD.exe to Find COMMAND PROMPT Then Right Click & RUN AS ADMIN)

Windows 10 To run the DISM command use the Windows key + X keyboard shortcut to open the Power User menu, then select Command Prompt (Admin). Type "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" (without quotes or copy/paste) and press Enter. While running DISM you may notice the process will appear to pause at 20%. After a few minutes the operation will continue.

Note SFC repairs files found locally on your computer. DISM goes on line and downloads them. Note save a copy of this for future repairs to Win 10

Note : If you updated from another OS and you have not kept up with updating your Motherboard, Sound, Graphics drivers you may have issues. Try Manufacturers site for your Motherboard, Make and Model will be on board or use CPU-Z to Identify. If is old they may have been taken off line already. Note : You can use a Driver Update program but that does come with risks.

I have found this for you to remove please : You have a extension that is part of a Mozilla experiment, called 'Shield Studies'. Without even knowing it, you may have volunteered for this Mozilla experiment. Would you go to : Options => Privacy & Security => under 'Data Collection and Use' : Did you uncheck : 'Allow Firefox to install and run studies ' or is it checked  ?

Please remove : To check if you are enrolled in these studies : Type in the address bar about:studies

Any extensions that you see listed there, you can either disable or remove, just like this Safe Browsing version 4 (at the end of the experiment they will be disabled anyway).

See for further information : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/shield

This may help with stability.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
