How can I shrink the spacing between the icons in the bookmarks toolbar?
Hi,
Please read this: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/935861
The "Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar" extension doesn't work anymore with FF 57.
Is there any other solution? thanks
I also read this (see below) but haven't been able to change anything. Do you know how?
"You may have entries in the userChrome.css for the profile on one system that are over riding the settings within themes. Here are my settings related to the personal bookmarks tool bar.
/* Tweaks the personal bookmarks toolbar display */ /* this adjusts space surrounding the favicon */
- PersonalToolbar .toolbarbutton-icon {
margin-top: 3px !important; padding-top: 0px !important; margin-right: 2px !important; padding-right: 0px !important; margin-left: 1px !important; padding-left: 0px !important; }

I don't know if there's replacement add-ons, what you could try is:
- Right-click on the toolbar, select Customize
- At the bottom of the display that comes up, locate the "Density" button and select "Compact"
That will make the icons closer together.
Good try but it barely shrinks the spacing!.... nothing to see with the magic "Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar" extension! Thank you anyway.
If this extension was able to compact much more the spacing between the icons without lowering their size (it was one among many other features), there should be a way to do it in prefs.js or somewhere else, shouldn't it?
Moreover, is there a way to get a 2-lines bookmarks toolbar?
Thanks
