I used to be able to use the upper right hand tool bar to search the internet and I used to set it default to Google but after the last update a couple months ago it will only search with Yahoo search engine? Even if I use the drop down and choose Google for my search engine it still gives me a Yahoo search page. How can I get my google search back? I wish I never updated Firefox.

Go to the 3-bar menu (or 'Tools') => Addons => Extensions and look for any unfamiliar or suspicious looking extensions.

When you find any : remove them.

Do the same in your system's Control Panel and look for anything suspicious.

However : most malware will be 'hiding' somewhere , so let's run malware scans :

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. They all work differently - what one program doesn't pick up, the other might.
