Time and Date are controlled by the Windows Operating System. ''I have a real old old Toshiba laptop circa 1997 (I "obtained" it in 2002 out of a dumpster where I had "recovered" many other computers in prevous weeks) and had the same problem with a cursor pad that was broken AND the 'nubbin' that is stuck in the keyboard was too dried out to be of much use as it lost its sensitivity to light finger strokes ; you just can't live with those Toshiba's without a mouse!'' Before I get started it is far easier with having access to a mouse - borrow one or but a cheap one is my advice. That said, are you able to open the Windows '''Start''' menu using '''{ Ctrl + Esc }''' on the keyboard? ''Assuming you have Windows.'' If so, use the ^ (up key) to scroll up to '''Settings''', then use the right arrow > to highlight '''Control Panel''', then hit the '''Enter''' key. Once you get the Control Panel open you can use the '''Tab''' key repeatedly to navigate to '''Date and Time'''. When you get to it hit the '''Enter''' key. When the '''Date and Time''' window appears, use the < and > arrow keys to get to the correct date; just hold the > key down to scroll forward to the correct year, then the month, and release that key when you get to February and then start tapping it slowly to advance one day at a time. Once the Date is set, use the '''Tab''' key to navigate thru each of the 3 Time fields - Hrs - Minutes - Seconds one at a time; set each with the keyboard or use the '''Up & Down''' arrow keys. Hit '''Enter''' when the time is correct to "lock" those 3 fields. Then hit the Tab key twice to move to the '''OK''' button and hit '''Enter''' Back in the Date and Time window hit Tab once to open the Time Zone window. Then '''Tab''' to the '''Time Zone''' button. You can used the Up or Down arrow keys to select the correct Time Zone. Once your Time Zone is correct hit '''Enter''' to leave that box. Back in the Date and Time window, hit '''Tab''' until you get the '''OK''' button to light up. Then hit '''Enter''' to '''''OK''''' that selection and save your settings. As I said, a lot easier with a mouse.
