lost sync on my old (not upgradable) FF
Up to few days ago I had no problem in sync-ing my bookmark and pw btwn two firefox, one on the old mac machine (firefox ESR 45.9 ... from here called ESR) and the other on the new mac running Mojave (and the latest FF). Today I realized that recent bookmarks were not loaded on the ESR; I checked in the preference/Sync and I was apparently logged. Because I wanted to "force" the sync I log-out and then tried to log-in. The I realized that it was impossible to log in again because "no connection available. You need internet to log in". Of course ESR has no problem in whatsover other page, just in the login page. Final step was to see if th the FF/sync was working in the new mac and then the number of connected devices to this account: the message I got is that ESR associated but the last time it was active was one month ago. Meaning that ESR lost the ability to sync (w/o any alert) one month ago. It is just me or the sync is deprecated for good in ESR machine? Thanks

Is there no way you can upgrade your Mac to a more modern version of MacOS? I see it's an intel processor, you probably have a decent chance of being able to update to Mavericks or later. Once you do that, you can update to a more modern version of Firefox.

Nope. The latest version of OSX available for my old mac (late 2006, intelcoreduo) is Snow Leopard. Only Mac with intelcoreduo2 (i.e. my macbook white - 2007) could be be upgraded to Lion (bad OSX) and then to Maverick
It works fine, though.
Ok, I can do it manually, but the automatic sync was an asset.
Too bad it disappeared w/o any "warning" from my ff account
