I'm thinking thinking this is probably a lost cause, but here goes... Is there any way to stop FF Sync from asking my Password (master password) at every boot. I'm usually in the middle of something when 'pop', the dialog box decides to open, and I have to stop and sign in with my MP to continue. Can't sync leave a cookie or something and remember who I am from one session to the next? I am the sole user of the machine.

The credentials to connect to Sync are stored in the Password Manager and only after you have entered the MP then it is possible to connect to Sync. You can't do this via a cookie. It would be nice if this MP prompt wouldn't happen when you are typing (i.e. only in idle time).

Thank you. Something else I need to learn to live with, I guess. Maybe Mozilla will come up with a better solution in the future.

If I may impose on you again, ever since my ipad updated to iPadOS13, FF sync has been unable to work. Any chance they will update sync for the new OS? Seems this is a common FF complaint on the ipad-related forums too.
