Multiple copies of emails received - mixed up X-Account-Key values
Thunderbird is downloading 3 copies of each email from the POP server.
When inspecting the headers, each of the copies has a different X-Account-Key value, one of which is correct and corresponds to the account being accessed, the other 2 belong to different accounts and yet down a copy of the message intended for the correct account
So checking an email for account11 is downloaded 3 times, once for account 11, once for account 6, and once for account 17 !! Account details from prefs below
Acct# identity 11 george@domain1 (also default account) 6 george@domain2 17 george@domain3
Very strange....
Can anybody help?

Have you checked in the web mail for the relevant accounts you have not set them up to collect mail from the other. Or set something in the cpanel for the domain to forward mail to XXX@XXX.XXX to some other address.
I have seen similar posts and all have them have traced to web mail settings or domain administrator settings not Thunderbird.
There is no mail forwarding between accounts. This seems to strictly be a thunderbird issue and specific to my laptop
My iPhone & iPad retrieve a singe copy of the messages, and so does my thunderbird installation on my Ubuntu office desktop. The thunderbird clients for all other employees were also updated & also have absolutely no issues.
Only my laptop's thunderbird client (Win 10) receives multiple copies....
This started on Friday night after updating the POP settings on each account to use STARTTLS because we moved our server to a new host.
