Thundebird - cannot configure exchange + FIDO Key - office 365 business

While configuring office 365 business email account in thunderbird Exchange have to be chosen. As i use FIDO key on this account (yubikey) there is a windows opening when configuring credentials (screenshot) with OAUTH flow. The issue is that after providing the PIN for yubikey there is error that this key is not recognized. I already reported this to microsoft but they claim it is on thunderbird's side. May this be a bug that the browser used in that flow does not pass yubikey info correctly? Im unable to log in using yubikey and configure this account.

The other issue is when clicking to use alternative method (i want to use password then) i am again asked for login then it does not ask about password but opens window where i should provide the PIN for key instead.

how are you connecting to exchange? IF you are using one of the addons, I suggest you try their support as that is independent from this site.
