How to Automatically Remove/Detach Attachments in Outbound Messages?

I regularly move my portable TB folder between my desktop and laptop. I therefore need to keep the size of my TB folder as small as possible to minimize the transfer time between computers. I have no need to save attachments in my mail. Every attachment already exists somewhere else on my system. The retention of attachments in my sent mail seems to consume 10 to 20 times the size of my TB folder than it would be without the retention of sent attachments and significantly interferes with the portability of TB for me. Ideally, there would be a global setting that toggles: "Save Attachments in Sent Mail." Yes, I'm an old-time Eudora user and that was the default back then. I have requested this enhancement several years ago but was told that an add-on called AttachExtraTools did the trick. It didn't do it exactly but it was good enough. It provided a tick box in every outbound message with an option to delete attachments in each outbound mail message. But now I need to update to TB v78. AttachExtraTools is no longer compatible. The add-on AttachmentExtractor is also not incompatible. Can anybody suggest a solution? (Opening up my sent mail folder and manually deleting attachments from every outbound e-mail with an attachment is not a workable solution.) Thank you!

I spent a half-hour playing with the settings in the Add-In and in the filter. I could not get it to work. Either it would delete the entire messages or it would not detach and remove the attachment. It would also not do any action at all unless I manually ran it.

I would love a global toggle! "[Keep|Do not keep] sent mail attachments."
