duplicate email accounts
Thunderbird Tech,
I have two email accounts in Thunderbird, one a main address and the other a secondary address. Somehow, probably something I did, caused Thunderbird to generate a third account with exactly the same email address as the main account. They both receive the same emails, which is unnecessary. I don’t know when this started, but it must have been recently because the “new” one has only a small number of emails in it. I would like to delete this duplicate account, but am afraid the main account would also be deleted. The icon for the new account is a little lock on it. Is there a solution to this situation?

Could you please do the following?
- Open the menu > Help > Troubleshooting Information, then click Copy text to Clipboard.
- Go to https://pastebin.com, paste the info from your Troubleshooting Information page, use the Create New Paste button to create a page containing your info, then copy the resulting URL (address) of the page created.
- Open a reply to this post, and paste the link to your troubleshooting information you just copied.
Matt,
Hope this is what you need.
