I notice that you have weird useragent where the 'rv' and 'Firefox' version do not match.

  • Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/110.0

Do you have enabled "Resist Fingerprinting" if you check this pref on the about:config page?

I'm BC (before computer) generation. No idea about:config page you're talking about. I use Firefox setting page. I do use finger print to login my Lenovo flex5 4k laptop win 11 pro. Are they related to the setting you're referring to? Google says this is common problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox without a change. Occasionally the 80% setting will carryover for day or so. Appreciate other suggestions. Does anyone else have or solved this problem so at least I'm not the lone ranger.

I'm Not comfortable going into config setting. I have few other issues except for Microsoft trying everything possible forcing products on pc users which I avoid. Recent outlook email is worse offender lately interjection ads and encouraging phishing and spam to use storage so they can charge for storage but that's a different problem unless they change Mozilla setting to force Edge on people. I limit apps to basic office docs & xlsx; Adobe acrobat; avoid using social media and other apps on my laptop. I do use Advanced System Care, software and driver updater from iobit and Nord VPN.

There is software like Advanced SystemCare with its Surfing Protection feature that can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings for the Firefox profile folder or uninstall this software.
