Can't upload files (release files and pictures to attach to comments) to GitHub

The screenshot shows the error message shown when trying to upload a file to a release on GitHub. File size and file format are supported, because I can do it with no issue on Chrome.

And I can't upload image files to attach to the comments, the comment box will show Uploading real quick then disappears like nothing ever happened.

Plus, this is not a thing since day one. It started to haunt yesterday. And as you can see I can upload images here with no problem, so something must be going wrong with GitHub and FireFox.
