Recently forced to update MAC OS to Big Sur, then Thunderbird stopped connecting. Thunderbird asks for a password that i enter correctly (works when directly logging into Gandi) but will not accept. No option on entering user name, just password. Contact@kencorm.org

Also, I payed for years and I'm getting pay or account will close 25 Jan 2025...

account where will close? I get those sorts of email at GMX a free mail provider because they are scams. But Gandi is not a free provider and they would be expecting you to pay to renew your use of the kencorm.org web domain is my guess. https://shop.gandi.net/en/domain/suggest?search=kencorm.org&options=1

What a pending renewal would have to do with your connection I have no idea. Are you perhaps using a VPN, they are know connectivity disasters for mail. Some only work with web pages.
