Java prevents me from opening more than one Firefox window.
For the past year or so (thus, the problem has existed through several versions of Firefox) I have been unable to open more than one Firefox window. After removing Java, however, the problem is resolved. If I reload Java, the problem returns. How can I get Firefox and Java to play nice? I want to be able to have more than one FF window open at the same time, but I also want Java on my computer. Thanks.

Every time Firefox opened

UPDATE:
After typing my question about the conflict between Java and Firefox, I tried removing Java and then downloading Adobe Reader. The same conflict arose. So, now the question is, how can I make Firefox work properly with Java and/or Adobe so that I can have these programs on my computer while also being able to open more than one Firefox window?
Try disabling the ZoneAlarm Toolbar extension.
Thanks for the suggestion, ed-meister.
When I disable the ZoneAlarm Toolbar extension, I can open new windows in Firefox, even with Java and Adobe still on my machine. It's good to know I can disable it for a few minutes when I really need to open a new window.
However, I'm still hoping to find a fix that allows me to keep it enabled at times. Thank you.
