I currently have firefox 3.6.13, but it also says I have 3.0.14 as well when I click on "Help" and then "About Mozilla Firefox."
I am trying to login to a site regarding work that I do, but it says I have to upgrade mozilla, as I thought I had the latest version of Firefox and Thunderbird. When I go to upgrade and complete the install of Firefox 3.6.13, and then go to "HELP" and then "About Mozilla Firefox," It shows I have Firefox v3.6.13, but at the bottom of that same box, it says I also have 3.0.14 (the 3.0.14 is what a specific site I need to get on is keeping me from getting on because of this). How do I upgrade the part that says 3.0.14? I even completely removed Firefox and reinstalled it and I get the same thing...I copy/pasted what I am referring to in the "troubleshooting Information" textbox below.....so basically, even though I supposedly have the latest version of firefox installed, why is the bottom part of the about box say I have 3.0.14?

Below you'll see what I am seeing...How can I have 3.6.13 installed, but yet at the bottom of that, it also says I have 3.0.14? The 3.0.14 is what I need to upgrade or I cannot access the site for work that I need to access... Please help - you can email me at matt@lighthouselist.com.
Thanks, Matt
If you go to about:config and search for general.useragent.extra.firefox is the status default or user set? If user set right click and choose Reset and the correct user agent should appear. If default, search for general.useragent.override and post back the result.
Thanks..I went to about:config, and it looked ok...What I did see was a general.useragent.extra.override. I saw that had a string of the old info that I needed to say a later version for. So I set that to reset, closed out of firefox, went back in, and now at that bottom part, it says 3.6.13! I go to the site now I was having issues with, and I'm in now!! Thanks so much!
