The plugin check says that my Java plugin is Java(TM) Plug-in 1.6.0_21 and is vunerable but I have the latest version of java installed
The Firefox plugin check (https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/) says that my Java plugin needs updating:
Java(TM) Plug-in 1.6.0_21 The next generation Java plug-in for Mozilla browsers. Vulnerable Update Now
However I have the latest version of Java installed, when I run the Java installation verifier (http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp) it confirms I have the latest version installed:
Verified Java Version Congratulations! You have the recommended Java installed (Version 6 Update 23).
This is the entry I have for Java in about:plugins
Java(TM) Plug-in 1.6.0_21
File: libnpjp2.so Version: The next generation Java plug-in for Mozilla browsers.

Delete the file pluginreg.dat and let Firefox rebuild a new version. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Issues_related_to_plugins
Your More system details list shows an old Flash 10.0 r45 plugin in addition of the current Flash 10.1 r102 version.
- Shockwave Flash 10.1 r102
- Shockwave Flash 10.0 r45
You should remove the Flash 10.0 r45 version.
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Issues_related_to_plugins#Identifying_installed_plugins
You can see the installed plugins on the about:plugins page.
If you set the pref plugin.expose_full_path to true on the about:config page then you see the full path of plugins on the about:plugins page.
It is best not to leave that pref set to true as it exposes that full path to web servers, so reset that pref to false after you are done with the about:plugins page.
