After creating App Tabs for Twitter and Google, those one appear in top aside my tabs. After closing Firefox and reopen it, those App Tabs are not there. I have to recreate it after each opening of Firefox.

Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Browsing History"

App tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data in the file sessionstore.js in the Firefox Profile Folder

I have FF set to remember browsing history and it still wont save any app tabs nor will it save tabs after closing FF.

Got the same problem, and yes, browsing history and such isn't set to be deleted at all. I work with the latest version of Firefox on Mac OS X 10.6.7.

I had this problem as well but it turns out CCleaner was the culprit. Under Cleaner/Applications/Firefox make sure "Session" is not checked.

Use the Tools/Options/General choose "Show my windows and .. " in the top item "When Firefox starts"

See "UI" heading in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.startup.page

CCleaner is not run in nortmal FF 4 shutdown, so that solution is odd.
