I updated to firefox 4 which wiped out my AVG and Rapport password monitoring facilities. How do I get them back? In the meantime I have reverted to Firefox 3.6 which I much prefer to 4, but I note you will be maintaining its security features for only a short time so I will have to get used to 4 provided I can get my own security features back.

You need to make sure that you have versions of their add-ons that work with Firefox 4.

Checking Rapport support, they now have an update for Firefox 4. To get it if you go to their support page and type in "Firefox 4" it will give you the download - http://www.trusteer.com/support

For AVG, they appear to be almost ready to release an update for Firefox 4 - http://forums.avg.com/ww-en/avg-free-forum?sec=thread&act=show&id=153935#post_153935

thanks very much. I'll wait for AVG to get the update and then consider Firefox 4.
