Wow, Firefox updated itself!! Not how I have it set up to behave. After crashing hard with 3.6?? while on a google search it came back up after a restart with an updated version 4 and an update to my noscript addon. There are two title bars, only the top of which has usable minimize, maximize, close buttons and my bookmarks disappeared. Upon unchecking and rechecking the bookmarks toolbar, they will re-appear. I was formerly a huge fan of FF and would tell anyone who would listen but how did this lack of functionality and two title bars pass muster???

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
