If you upgraded from Firefox 4 to Firefox 5 there is no difference, right-click on the tab to see it's history. Or are you referring to something else.

Yes I upgraded from 4 to 5. When I open a new tab, the page is blank. Used to show recent pages as thumbnails. When I right click like you suggest, there is no option to show recent history.

Sounds like a feature that is provided by the Google Toolbar extension, which hasn't been updated for Firefox 5.0 just yet. You should visit Google Toolbar support and request an update for that program, it you have it installed.

That's right. Firefox wouldn't install my google toolbar because it's not compatible with firefox 5.0!

The Google Toolbar 7.1.20110512W seems yo be working fine in Firefox 5.0 for me, once you get around the "incompatibility" issue.

This extension will override that issue.

And if you do have a problem, there's a button in the Add-ons Manager tab so you can report "compatibility" issues to the developer of each extension.

Thank you! I have followed your instructions and I guess I'll see if there are any problems! But I still don't see recent history in new tab?!
