I asked how to move the home button and after some exploring I found that if I opened the "Customize" window I could select the "Home" page button and move it. I had gone here before but as the button does not show on the list of customizing buttons I assumed - - lol - - that the button could not be moved.

You can move any and all buttons when and only when the "customize" window is open.
