I was depending on my Yahoo Toolbar. I declined to update to FF7 because of the warning, but a recent "request" by Mozilla to update did not include the Yahoo message, so I figured it was safe to update to FF7. Guess what. Now I can't use Yahoo Toolbar. I do not understand why FF doesn't seem able to foresee such issues and resolve them before publishing the updates. This makes me yearn for the old days when IE was the standard. What's up FF??? Who's helping whom here? Must YOU always have it YOUR way? Is this Burger King, or what????

When I updated to FF 7 the toolbar was not working but I found a toolbar update so that started working but with yahoo's work with the bookmarks suddenly that's not working with FF but is with MSIE, yahoo told me to downgrade to FF 5; but that's not going to happen.

Thanks for your replies! I now have my Yahoo toolbar back with all my favorites intact. I simply went to Yahoo and downloaded their toolbar again. Somehow it worked! I'm a happy camper now!

I have hesitated to download the latest version because of the warnings of loosing my Yahoo toolbar...I am a bit nervous of trusting that it will work...am not available for loosing it...too valuable...

Yes, I have Firefox 7.0.1 and the yahoo tool bar works. I just went back to Yahoo and downloaded it again. Voila! There it was complete with all my Bookmarks! Believe me, I was a happy girl! I think if I ever have to do something like this again, I will at least copy/paste all my Bookmarks onto a Word doc or something so I will have a reference and web address for them in case I don't get the tool bar back. Just an idea you might consider before you download Firefox 7. Hope it works perfectly for you!!!
