I do not know who decided to kill Firefox's Download Status bar, but whoever it was is an idiot. Now you have to download something separately to, supposedly, have a download status bar. A while ago I downloaded the Download Status Bar. Since doing that, I STILL do not have any download bar anywhere. What I DO have is a pain in the butt problem. Every time I download something I get a message about a virus scan not having started, check settings. I think that the first time that happene4d, I got a button to click that took me into the Download Status Bar settings (or maybe it was during setup, I'm not sure, I just know I got into them once), and as far as I could tell, they were fine and the virus scan should have been operating. I have also had other problems with the thing. I cannot now figure out how to get into it, and I want to get rid of the piece of junk. WHERE is it? It does not show up in my Add Ons, it does not show up in my Extensions, in does not show up in my Plugins, and a Win Explorer search cannot find anything.
