Transfer passwords etc from 3.6 to 9.01

I am trying to transfer my passwords and login details from FF3.6 on my old PC with XP to FF 9.01 on my new PC with Win 7. I have done this before with older versions and XP to XP but not with 9.01 which seems to have a different file structure. Maybe I am wrong but not wanting to screw my PC I thought it better to ask first!

Hi ajw1100,

You might want to take a look at the Knowledge Base article Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles. It should show you how to backup all of your personal information. Then you can just transfer all this information onto your new computer.
