I've noticed that I have to reload pages frequently in the latest version of Firefox. Has anyone else encountered this?

No matter the site, I frequently find myself waiting longer than usual for it to load. Forcing me to stop the loading and refresh the page. This problem has only existed with the newest version of Firefox.

I checked out your suggestion, but it doesn't apply to the problem I'm encountering.

The pages will eventually load, but usually AFTER I 'stop' and 'reload' the page. This problem DID NOT exist with the previous version of Firefox.

Seems to me, based on the number of threads I've seen this day alone, Firefox 9 has too many bugs still left in it. Perhaps the developers could pull the plug on it and help their users roll back to Firefox 8, which worked just fine. Heck, I was even satisfied with Firefox 7...!

I'll try the cookie suggestion, but it seems ridiculous to have to clear a benign cookie cache every time I close out my browser. Ps I have Windows7, not XP.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
