Won't be using Firefox until Norton safe web lite works

I like Firefox, but Norton Safe Web Lite is disabled on the grounds that it isn't compatible with the latest version of Firefox.

This isn't Norton's problem, it's yours. The ability to know if viruses are lurking on innocent web sites - like Blue Mountain greeting cards - to require reinstalling Windows to fix it, is critical to being able to surf the web.

I'll just go back to using Internet Explorer until basic Internet Security works with Firefox.

While you're fixing that, you need to allow us to keep prior versions of Firefox instead of automatically updating to versions on which half our extensions don't work.

Norton probably just needs to mark their addon as compatible with Firefox 10. You can try going to http://safeweb.norton.com/lite and reinstall it. See if that helps your add-on become compatible again.

Add-ons are disabled after updating Firefox may help you as well.
