stop mozilla popup addon page
That's nice, a new page for mozilla addons showing the inept how to update addons.
But WHY does it have to popup EVERY time I open the browser. Mozilla's addons are up to date, the others , like microsoft genuine certificate don't "update" So how do I get rid of your popup page aside from angrily closing it and cursing you? And you are pretty pretentious making me modify my password umpteen times to something more "secure"? Oh my goodness, my mozilla account was hacked !!! Give me a break. Sorry, but it's another freezing ass day with no forecast of work on the horizon.
Tired, cold, broke and pissed off. Have a nice day. :C)

Yes, my bad. I still had 14, updated to 18 and it stops the popup page. Thank You. I thought my Fox was updating automatically.
Now if we could just uninstall, or get rid of plugins and addons we don't want anymore or need instead of just disabling them.
hello, glad you could resolve it this way. plugins are installed on a system level - you can look in the windows control panel/programs section to remove them. if you're unable to uninstall a certain addon, please refer to Cannot remove an add-on (extension or theme).
I have Firefox version 21 and it is STILL opening the pages for Colour full tabs and for ReminderFox. Great add-ons but as Olphart asked......WHY? If worst comes to worst the only option will be to uninstall the damned things and just stay with plain vanilla Firefox.
I have Firefox version 22 and I am still getting these popups.Short of redownloading Firefox, what would be the best and easiest way to omit these terrible FREE adverts that we dont want
hello Peakhillfm, this sounds like a problem possibly caused by malware on your pc. please go to firefox > addons > extensions & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.
Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
Evening from Oz Philipp, Thank you for your answer,BUT still nbo good at all.I still have the popups. I did have a malware problem about a month ago,BUT this problem has only been happening over the past week or so
could you go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on...
