yahoo email fromid is missing

For years I use to get the "fromid" in yahoo at&t emails sent to me. But for many months, the "fromid" value has been blank --- this prevents me from using the sender's email address to post in my spam block list to prevent unwanted emails. Yahoo says it's caused by Firefox, and At&t knows nothing. Can you please tell me how to begin getting the "fromid" put back into received emails? Thanks for your time.

I'm not sure of the difference between From (a field displayed when you expand the subject line area of the message) and "fromid". Where did you previously find the fromid, or where can you find it now in IE or another browser?

Fromid is in the data stream of the email address. It's helpful in seeing who sent the email W/O opening the email. Very useful in using to block spam senders. Right click the email in your inbox W/O opening it -- you will see a copy link location tab that contains the fromid.

My right-click context menu seems to be different than yours. This is what I get both in Firefox 18 and IE8 (this is regular Yahoo mail, not AT&T Yahoo mail, but I'm not sure there is any difference between those two).
