I would insert a screenshot if possible here. but its not, and if so I cannot find this function. would make it a lot easier though. I just want to know how you remote the big gray box at the homescreen that says "set up firefox sync to access bookmarks......." instead of taking that much space on homescreen, it couldn't be an option in the settings, as it is already. how do I remove the options in the right site of the screen? and again, to be options in a menu you can choose if needed.

hello, i fear that the message is hard-coded into the homepage and there's no simple way to disable it - in addition there's also no easy way to set a custom homepage in firefox for android. you could long-tap on a page in the history/search suggestions and add a short-cut to that on the homescreen of your device & launch firefox through that shortcut...

however there will be a redesign of the homescreen in firefox 26, so it might be subject to change then: http://androidshouters.com/firefox-for-android-coming-soon-renew-its-interface-try-it-now/
