I deleted a plugin from my Wordpress blog, and while Chrome shows the updated page correctly, Firefox still shows the old page with the plugin still there. I cleared the cache and history, and it still shows. Not only that, but when I checked that webpage from my laptop (where I never opened that website at all until now, so there is no issue of browser cache here), it still shows it with the old layout with files that are no longer there.

As a last check, I also opened the page through Firefox using anonymouse, a page anonymizer, there is no trace of anything related to me on the site. Still the same result.

How can I get rid of the old webpage look, which shows perfectly updated in Chrome, but not in Firefox?

Here is the page (the actual homepage of the site): http://www.mysterysequels.com/ Check it out in Chrome and in Firefox - Chrome shows the proper layout, while Firefox still has the old layout with images that no longer exist anywhere on my site.

Hello,

I think the page loads fine on Firefox. Can you please confirm that the attached screenshot is how you expect the page to render on Firefox. If so, we can do a bit more troubleshooting to find out why you are not able to see the images.

Thank you

Yes, it does look ok now. What I think finally solved it was to remove the featured image from one of these posts showing on the front page, and then readd the featured image to the post. Somehow it reset everything, clearing the cache in a way that I could manually not do.

Thanks for the screenshot and confirmation!
