Since Firefox updated to version 27 the Norton Toolbar won't work. I have checked and I do have the latest version of Norton. The Norton site says they have applied a fix for FF 27. I have open and closed Firefox several times and re-booted my computer several times. What do I have to do to enable the Norton toolbar?

My Norton Toolbar IS 2014.6.5.1 (Firefox 27.0.1). The Toolbar had been there & working but now disappeared & is instead Only showing as "VAULT IS OPEN". The Vault is only providing 1 login for sites & I'm unable to choose other accounts/logins from the Vault. I've run Live Update many times & rebooted PC (WIN 7 Starter) many times. Have also tried disabling restarting enabling restarting the Norton Toolbar in Firefox. Nothing helps. ETA: So strange. Less than 1 hour later & the Toolbar is back without any further troubleshooting.

I have the same problem. While the Norton toolbar found its way to my Windows Internet Explorer, it never showed up of Firefox. Funny thing is, the Norton Identity Safe knows Firefox is there, and that's it. What I have been told was to remove both FF and Norton. Reinstall FF, then reinstall Norton. Never did work out for me. So I am just going to wait it out.

Run the Norton Live Update repeatedly until the Norton Toolbar becomes updated. Yesterday another Norton user posted here that it took him 7 tries before the Live Update was completed, which has been mentioned by many other Norton users over the last two or 3 years.

I have tried all the suggestions with no luck. I have uninstalled and reinstalled FF and Norton, ran live update 10+ times and rebooted several times. Does anyone else have a solution?

thanks! according to symantec their toolbar compatible with firefox 27 has the version number 2014.6.5.1. if you're not getting that version even after running norton's liveupdate repeatedly, you'd probably have to contact norton's support to help you in this situation...
