Astromenda arrivd w Adb Cloud.Got rid of both.Astromnda will probly return when I reinstall Adb. Any thoughts?
To get rid of Astromenda (described in previous questions) I bought Malwarebytes and ran it. It did a good job of getting rid it. I learned, from the Malwarebytes quarantine list, that Astromenda piggybacked(?) on Adobe Creative Cloud .I uninstalled Adobe CC. I also dug down into system files to clean out the last of Astromenda. Several reputable anti-hijacking sites said that Firefox(among others) is vulnerable to Astromenda so I uninstalled Firefox. I've reinstalled Firefox. I have to install Adobe Elements, which is not cloud-based. I'm thinking that Astromenda will return again and again. The usual blocking utilities in Windows and Firefox have not worked. I was able to run Chrome most of the time without a problem. But I like Firefox better than Chrome.
Any thoughts on Preventive measures? Thanks

Adobe probably is not distributing Astromenda, which is an annoying browser add-on. Are you sure you got an official download and not something hacked?
Unless there is another program on your computer that is designed to reinject Astromenda into your browsers, you've probably gotten rid of it, but it's worth checking to see whether there's anything unfamiliar in your Control Panel, Uninstall a Program. After the list loads, I suggest clicking the "Installed on" column heading to help reveal any bundled items that installed at the same time as something you actually wanted.
Meanwhile, although you already bought Malwarebytes Anti-malware, there are a variety of free cleaning tools you can also use, since they differ in their detections. See our support article: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware. Note that they both scan and clean for free, and take some time to run. If they seem to finish quickly and demand payment, then you probably have a serious infection. Please try the specialized cleanup forums listed in the article in that case.
