I don't mean to make this a long story but needed to explain what happened and what I'm wanting to do. Last week, after allowing AT&T take remote access to my PC concerning a new system I was putting in, I left my PC to get a drink. Big mistake. I told the rep I needed to get off the phone because it was late. I went to my PC and discovered AT&T somehow had demolished my Thunderbird. It was totally gone and wanted me to set up an account. All my emails were gone which was horrible because I'm on a HO board and needed my emails and folders. About a week ago I had backed up FF and TB using Moz Backup which was a program I've used for years with great success. So, I restored a backup from a week ago and I was able to retrieve a lot of my stuff. I had to reconstruct a few things but it was a lot better than nothing. But I've repeatably tried to backup TB using Moz Backup and the backup keeps failing. I'm wondering if it's reading the profile from a week ago. I pretty well satisfied with what I have now but wondered if I create a NEW profile could I transfer all of my mail folders and their contents to a new profile and hopefully Moz Backup would then back up the new profile. I hope I haven't confused anyone here because I'm certainly confused.
