I had tried all the ways like disabling extensions,refresh/reset firefox, scan for viruses with several cleaners but non of these solve the problem. Whenever i open up my firefox browser,it startup with "www.onclickads.net" and redirects to a random page,I tried to set my homepage to "google.com" but it doesnt work at all,i also tried with another browsers such as Chrome and IE but they doesn't have this problem. I posted a same question on another website(i don't think it's necessary so i won't mention it),they told me to uninstall some weird-named-things on the Programs and Features, but i see nothing there except my applications. I hope i could get an answer for this because i had been using Firefox for years and i don't wanna to change my default browser, and sry for the bad english..

When does that unwanted page appear? For example:

  • Any time you go to your home page:
    • Launching a new window with Ctrl+n
    • Clicking the Home button on the toolbar
  • Any time you launch a new tab (e.g., Ctrl+t)
  • Any time you use your desktop/taskbar shortcut to launch a new Firefox window
  • When searching
  • Randomly?!

If the problem is specific to the desktop/taskbar shortcut:

Check for a hijacked shortcut. Here's how:

  • Desktop shortcut: right-click the icon, choose Properties
  • Pinned taskbar icon: right-click the icon, right-click Mozilla Firefox, choose Properties

Windows normally will select the Shortcut tab. If not, go ahead and click the Shortcut tab.

The Target line should not have anything after this part:

  • 64-bit Windows, standard 32-bit Firefox: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
  • 64-bit Windows, test 64-bit Firefox: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
  • 32-bit Windows: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

If any URLs are listed after that, clear them out and save your change. To test, you can either:

  • Desktop shortcut: double-click the icon to launch a new window
  • Pinned taskbar icon: right-click the icon, click Mozilla Firefox to launch a new window

If you only get your home page, it worked. You probably need to do the same for your other browsers.
