I deleted my Trash folder and that deleted every other folder as well, including my ability to get my emails on line. can you do something about this?

I deleted the emails in my trash folder only and all the emails in my inbox, sent folder, other private folders were deleted. I went to gmail on line and found they were deleted there as well. How is this possible and what can I do about it?

Deleting messages in Trash permanently deletes them.

I know that and I expected to delete my trash folder permanently but it also deleted my inbox, my sent folder, my all mail folder and every other folder as well as the emails stored in gmail on line. Please read my previous email correctly before replying.
