You get stuck in tabs sometimes because the application is not responding.

Hi Stan, it's normal for bookmarks and links to open in the same tab. To direct a bookmark or link to open in a new tab, you can try one of these methods:

  • right-click the bookmark or link > Open (Link) in New Tab
  • hold down the Ctrl key while clicking the bookmark or link
  • "middle-click" the bookmark or link with the mouse scroll wheel (or middle button if you have one)

I don't know whether that works with Pocket.

Now about getting back to your home page, Google: if the back arrow is grayed out, you could click the house icon (Home button) on the toolbar to return to your home page. if you prefer a keyboard shortcut, try Alt+Home. Do either of those work for you?
