Dalšne informacije

recovery with sessionstore.js no longer works.

Many posts indicate that this works:

You can copy a file from the sessionstore-backups folder to the main profile and rename the file to sessionstore.js to replace the current file (make a backup copy of the current sessionstore.js).

It has worked for me in the past and now no longer does. Some posts indicate that you now have to change the text of the header in the recovery.bak file if you want to use it, but I can't seem to find one that works.

Point blank, copying one of the files in the old session folder and renaming it so sessionstore.js and then starting firefox no longer restores the session. When I view recovery.bak, I can see the old links, but can't get firefox to restore them. Can we please get an updated answer on how to restore crashed sessions using the files in the sessionstore-back ups folder?

After setting up the "new" sessionstore.js file, try hiding the sessionstore-backups folder by renaming it something like sessionstore-old (while Firefox is closed, of course).
