After closing laptop when I re open it firefox loses right click & some left click
I have to use different laptops at work and also use different laptops at home. So I'm using some AMD based machines and some Intel based machines. There are Win7 machines, Win8 machines and Win10 machines. The issue is the same on all of them. Here's what happens. Open firefox. Everything works fine, all preferences as I like them, it's all good. I can right click a link and tell it to open in a new tab, or a new window and it will. I can highlight text and right click for options like copy. I can right click the address bar and paste in a link. I can right click and select "save" for documents, images etc. But... If I close the lid (this is the same for ALL the laptops remember)... when I come back later and reopen the lid... wait for Windows 7 / 8 / 10 to restart... All the windows & tabs that were open before I closed the lid are still open. Great!! Except now right click does not work. I can't right click to open a link in a new tab or window, I can't right click and save a document or file... I can left click and drag to select some text but can't right click to copy... It only happens to firefox, right click still works for the desktop, for Excel, for open office, for word... just not in firefox. Somebody suggested that the problem would not occur if I updated firefox, but I did and it still does. I was told to try Private browsing but it suffers the same problem. Interestingly there is an extra problem that only occurs on Windows10 machines. use firefox, close lid, wait... restart laptop etc. As well as the right click issue, LEFT click doesn't register on any of the little 'X's at the top so I can't close individual tabs!
If I close down every firefox window and tab and then re open firefox, mysteriously I can right click again. But that's not really convenient or a proper fix. And it only lasts until I have to close the lid... when I re-open the lid and restart the machine... No right click!! If someone could help me figure this out that would be brilliant as it is really annoying. Thanks!!

Try uninstall and reinstall 56.0.2 with a Full Version Installer. https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
I update the fox regularly so it should be as up to date as required... But tried uninstall / reinstall anyway as this problem is v. annoying. And why not, it's not as though I can make the problem worse!! Not a fix. Exactly the same. I'd love to get it fixed though. Chrome is annoying and IE / Edge is just... bleugh!!
