Links from bbc website will not load
I am using 58.0.2 64-bit version of Firefox on a Windows 10 laptop and I use the BBC News website as my homepage. Links from the main website page to other pages take an interminable length of time to load - if they do at all. I do not have this issue with Chrome or Edge. This appears to have been an issue for some time; I have tried various of the suggestions appearing in this forum, i.e. opening in safe mode, resetting Firefox, changing my ad-blocker etc. etc., but nothing works, and as this has not been addressed by Mozilla I feel it is time to revert to Chrome. Any final suggestions?

Well first off ad blockers can affect BBC sites. Turn off all ad blocker to verify that those aren't the reason. What appears to be of a issue? Making general fault errors doesn't tell others what is happening. Also provide a link that your using so others can verify what your saying is happening.
Not a brilliant reply... i) Turn off all ad blockers? Why should an ad blocker stop BBC pages in Firefox but not Chrome or Edge? ii) "What appears to be of a(n) issue"? I have already explained what the issue is - "Links from the main website page to other pages take an interminable length of time to load - if they do at all." I am not a technical person. This IS a "general fault" error for goodness sake!! iii) As for providing a link - well, any sports page, financial page.... This obviously doesn't happen to everybody else, but does happen to some - how do you expect someone to "verify what your saying..." if it doesn't happen to them?
