Hi. I can't seem to change the playback speed for YouTube videos on my Firefox Browser for Linux. They always play at normal speed whether I change it to 2x or 0.25x. I've tried it on Opera and works fine there. Can you help me out? I'm using Ubuntu 18.04 LTS currently.

Hello abhiroop,

Your system details show that you have this extension installed :

"YouTube Video Player Speed 64.0.0"

Would you disable it and see if that will make a difference  ?

The developer (Baris Derin) hasn't updated the extension in quite a while .....

Hi mccoy. Thanks for getting back. I installed that add-on after I found out about the issue. Removing it didn't make a difference. But, removing one of my other add-on, the equalizer one, solved my problem!! Thanks again :)
