I want to disable certain keyboard shortcuts. I'm a developer so by instinct I always press ctrl+S and ctrl+W. Is there a way to not just remap the shortcuts but to disable them completely? I tested shortkeys and it doesn't work.

I don't think that you can disable builtin keyboard shortcuts via an extension. I thought about using pinned tabs because Ctrl+W doesn't close a pinned tab, but I see that in that case Firefox jumps to the first not pinned tab. I don't know if this is a bug or intentional, but it looks weird (a second Ctrl+W will close this first tab).

How about ctrl+S?

Did you figure it out? I need ctr + w for cockpit/nano.
