You can hide this toolbar by right-clicking the "3-bar" Firefox menu button on the Navigation Toolbar or other free space on this toolbar (doesn't work on the Bookmarks Toolbar). You can also toggle this toolbar via the "Ctrl+Shift+B" keyboard shortcut in newer Firefox version (doesn't work in 78 ESR).
