Cannot remove a Theme in Thunderbird
I installed Monterail Full Dark 2 for TB>68 3.2.3 on version 78.13.0
Not suitable for my needs, I removed it from the Add-ons Manager. But the Theme is still active. It does not show in the Manager.
I contacted the Theme creator and still await a reply with a solution. I then followed the instructions to remove the Theme.
"Go where your application data are stored, they usually can be found in:
Windows: `C:\Users\[your windows user]\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\[(literally) random letters and numbers].default/`
Go to the "extensions" folder, here there should be a file named "MonterailFullDark@conema.me.xpi" While Thunderbird is opened in background, delete the "MonterailFullDark@conema.me.xpi" file."
I did this and the Theme is still working. I checked the extensions folder and the file has been removed.
What else can I do to get back to normal? Regards Drachsi

Have you tried setting the theme in the addon manger to something like light or the default theme?
Hi,
Yes, it is set for the default light Theme. There just the 3 Themes, light, dark and default.
Did you follow steps 4 & 5 in the FAQ to make the theme work, after which you should be able to remove it or switch themes?

Yes, did that except the re-install as it was not what I wanted.
