Who is the mail provider? Looks like they require STARTTLS connection security on the outgoing server. Check Tools/Account Settings, Outgoing Server (SMTP).
If I could read hieroglyphics it might help. I have zero idea what any of this says, what it is, what it means or what I'm supposed to do. What is STARTTLS and what am I supposed to do with it? It used to be a telus email but gmail took over the telus stuff as of about a year ago. This happened once before and I had to delete and reinstall the email cause I have no idea what I'm supposed to do to fix what it wants. And no clue as to why this would suddenly happen. Thx
Open Tools/Account Settings, Outgoing Server (SMTP) at bottom of left pane, select the smtp server for the account, Edit..., set the server smtp.gmail.com on port 587, STARTTLS connection security, authentication method = OAuth2, User Name = your Telus email address, restart TB, enter your account password in the OAuth window to allow TB access.
